HypeLab complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data transferred from the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom to the United States. HypeLab has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the DPF Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the DPF Principles, the DPF Principles shall govern.
Individuals in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or the UK have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data held by HypeLab. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe and provide you with access to your data, or correct, amend, or delete it, as appropriate, unless restricted by law.

Do Not Track. California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Because there currently isn’t an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we don’t respond to them at this time. We await the result of work by the privacy community and industry to determine when such a response is appropriate and what form it should take.
California Shine the Light. A California resident who has provided personal information to a business with whom he/she has established a business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes (“California Customer”) is entitled to request information about whether the business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes, subject to certain exceptions, as defined in California Civil Code Sec. 1798.83. 11. Keeping Your Personal Information Secure. We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost or used or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to access it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so. The HypeLab Service is hosted by a third-party hosting company that we have determined maintains adequate security controls and utilizes industry-standard encryption. We also follow industry-standard controls, including physical, system and network security, workstation protection, the use of anti-virus and anti-malware software, disk encryption and other industry best practices. We use various third-party processors to enable us to provide the Service, and as part of our vendor due-diligence, we review the security controls these processors have in place and ensure they meet industry standards appropriate for the type of data we collect. We retain the data we collect through the Services for up to 2 years and routinely purge data from our system. Note that we will retain information in our systems for as long as necessary to comply with applicable law and legal obligations.
12. We do not Collect Information from Children. We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 16. In the event we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
